Who CBT Therapy Helps?
You may be seeking therapy either for yourself or a loved one. You might not even realise you have anxiety or low mood, you just know something doesn’t feel right.
Perhaps you’ve noticed feelings of rising panic, so overwhelming you can't settle down to anything, or maybe you’ve started cancelling plans and lack motivation. Perhaps your sleep is being impacted, waking you at night with memories of trauma, or worries about the next day.
Maybe your self-care has just slipped a bit recently, and you’ve noticed you’re staying in more, or things just aren't feeling as enjoyable as they used to, and you’re mood is lower than usual?
That's where CBT can help.
I will work with you using recognised CBT techniques to identify and gradually adjust difficult thinking patterns and behaviours into more supportive ones, introducing practical tools to help you generate more clarity and calm to help stabilise your mood.
My aim in all my therapy is to support you to feel calmer, gain confidence and have a clearer understanding of how to manage future situations, ultimately enhancing your overall sense of well-being.
