Terms and Conditions

All therapy sessions are strictly confidential and undertaken in a professional, warm and caring manner. All personal information collected by CBT for You will be treated according to the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. Please refer to the privacy policy and information security management policy below. At the start of your therapy, we will together complete a contract detailing how we will be working, and we will not progress until you are happy with what is outlined.

Booking

To book or reorganise a therapy session:

• Fill out the online appointment form
• Send a message via the online contact form

All therapy sessions are payable in advance at the time of booking (if booked online) or at the start of the session, unless funded through private medical insurance. Therapy sessions will last for 50 minutes unless working with PTSD, which may last up to 90 minutes. This will be discussed at the start of therapy.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please provide a 24-hour notice for cancellation – if cancellation or non-attendance takes place on the day of your booked appointment, charges will apply.

Therapy Etiquette

Please arrive on time for all your appointments. If you do happen to be late, you will receive the remaining time for that session. If a client arrives under the influence of alcohol, drugs or becomes abusive during the session, I reserve the right to cancel that session immediately, and that session will still be charged for. Notes may be taken during the session; these are purely to support the work during the sessions and will remain the property and will be anonymously stored.
